Does Phleetbo accept my health insurance?
Phleetbo is an independent "fee-for-service" platform. We do not bill your insurance for our services. You will be charged a one time "fee for service" directly for each ordered visit. We accept Credit Card and Debit Card payments currently.
Your insurance information must be included on your physician requisition for your specified laboratory to process your specimens. Be sure your requisition is properly completed before you upload documents.

Do I need a physician's requisition to schedule my blood draw?
Yes. A fully completed laboratory requisition issued from your physician or physician's office is necessary to schedule a blood draw appointment with Phleetbo and for your specimens to be processed by a laboratory.
How long do I need to fast before having my blood drawn?
Fasting for a lab test typically lasts eight hours but can be up to 12 hours. Although Phleetbo technicians are highly experienced, we have no authorization to instruct or suggest fasting and or other draw requirements. Contact your physician with any fasting or draw requirement questions prior to scheduling a phleetbo appointment to avoid any delay in processing.

Where can I have my blood drawn at?
Our mobile phlebotomists are highly experienced and can draw blood in almost any setting. Whether it is from the comfort of your home, at your office, assisted living facility, senior living facility, group home, board and care, or a temporary location. Wherever you or your loved one may need service, Phleetbo can come to you.
Although we take pride in our level of customer commitment, Phleetbo field technicians reserve the right to deny blood draw services. Using their professional judgement, if our technician feels they are introduced to a questionable or inappropriate situation, extremely unsterile environment, threatened or concerned for their safety, they reserve the right stop and leave the premises at once.
How long does the collection process take?
With our experienced and efficient phlebotomists, a typical blood draw procedure can take no more than 10-15 minutes. However, there are many factors that can slow down or even prevent a successful blood draw.
Please mark your calendar or set a reminder about your scheduled visit. If you are capable, we recommend you prepare an area at a table, or a comfortable place for you so your phlebotomist has a clean workable space for the necessary and sterile supplies. Drink plenty of water prior to your scheduled visit. Drinking water is highly encouraged because it hydrates your body and veins which makes them easier to find and draw from aiding in a successful and prompt procedure.
Note: If you are not available within the scheduled time of arrival or within our policy grace period, your technician with leave and you will be charged accordingly. Please review our cancellation policy for more information.
Why do I need insurance information if I am paying for Phleetbo services?
Phleetbo is an independent service separate from your specified laboratory. Laboratory processing requires insurance information for billing and will not process results without verified insurance. Phleetbo is not responsible for any issues involving medical insurance verification. We strongly suggest reviewing and properly fill out all required details on your ordering documents and requisitions before placing your order with Phleetbo.
If Phleetbo deems your uploaded ordering documents or requisitions to be unacceptable after a confirmed order/appointment, you will be notified by Phleetbo processing department and will have to submit updated documents/requisitions OR the appointment request may be terminated.

I have a Kit Draw. Do I need Insurance or a physicians' order to schedule?
There are many Kit Draw packages on the market and Phleetbo will service them on a case-by-case basis. Typically, you will have already set up payment directly with the company that is processing your laboratory results. In this case we will not need insurance information to complete the blood draw and deliver your package. Be sure to communicate completely with your Kit Draw company to understand exactly how their processing and billing works.
Should I be fasting for my blood draw?
All blood draw details and instructions should be provided by your physician or physician's office personnel and noted on your requisition prior to scheduling your Phleetbo appointment. Although Phleetbo technicians are highly experienced, we have no authorization to instruct or suggest fasting and or any other draw requirements.
Should I continue taking my prescribed medication before my blood draw?
Unless your physician instructs otherwise, you should continue to take your usual medications. Although Phleetbo technicians are highly experienced, we have no authorization to instruct or suggest changes to your medication routine. If you are taking vitamin/mineral supplements, It is important to ask your physician whether you should continue those as well prior to your blood draw.
Is water okay to drink while I am fasting?
Drinking water is highly encouraged for before any blood draw. Drinking water hydrates your body and veins which makes them easier to find and easier to draw from.
Does Phleetbo pick-up and deliver any other laboratory specimens?
Yes. Although we cannot assist with collecting any specimens other than blood, Phleetbo can pick-up and deliver urine, stool, sputum specimens and wound cultures to the specified laboratory with a valid physician's requisition.
To avoid laboratory rejection, it is important to collect these specimens in the proper laboratory issued and untampered collection cups, kits, cards, and tubes necessary for processing. Please consult and request proper supplies from your physician's office.
Phleetbo will not be responsible for improper tampering, contaminated, or incorrect specimen supplies that may be rejected by your specified laboratory. Refunds for delivery and courier services will not be granted for laboratory rejections outside of our control. Please see our cancelation and refund policy for more details.
Can Phleetbo bring me specimen supplies?
Yes. We have many different specimen supplies available for delivery. Laboratories are extremely specific on what can be used for specimen processing, so it is important that you consult with your physician or physician's office about the laboratory recommendations for your specific specimen supply needs.
Phleetbo will deliver supplies according to your requests but will not be responsible for improper tampering, contaminated, or incorrect specimen supplies that may be rejected by your specified laboratory. Can I cancel or reschedule my blood draw appointment?
Yes. We understand you are busy, life happens, and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Let us know at once to avoid any fees.
Cancellation and modifications of a booked appointment can be made up to one (1) hour BEFORE the beginning of your confirmed appointment time window with NO CHARGE to the credit or debit card on file provided.

What payment methods does Phleetbo accept?
We do not accept cash for services. A valid credit or debit card payment method is required to schedule, confirm, and secure an appointment using our online ordering platform, mobile device application or by calling us directly.
Phleetbo will not process any payment to the credit or debit card until after your Phleetbo technician has successfully serviced and obtained the necessary blood specimens according to the physician ordered requisition provided.
